Ingredients
1 cup whole milk (or any milk of your choice)
1/2 cup brewed coffee (strong or espresso)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons sugar (or sweetener of choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice)
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Extra pumpkin pie spice (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Prepare the coffee: Brew your coffee using your favorite method. If using espresso, brew a double shot for extra richness.
Heat the milk: In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until it’s steaming but not boiling. Stir occasionally to avoid scalding.
Mix the pumpkin and spices: In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir until well-blended.
Combine: Add the brewed coffee to the pumpkin mixture, and mix well to combine all flavors.
Combine milk and coffee mixture: Pour the warm milk into the pumpkin-coffee blend, stirring gently to combine. If you prefer a frothier texture, use a milk frother at this point or whisk vigorously.
Serve: Divide the pumpkin spice latte between two mugs. Top with whipped cream if desired and sprinkle with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice for garnish.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness and spice levels to your taste. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
